She lived with an Uncle and married my Husband Jeff's Gr. Grandfather John Muirhead;
they are both buried in Oracle, AZ. USA.

Helen K. Muirhead was born on 31 October 1919 in the state of Nebraska.
John David and Bertha Elenora (Logerberg) Muirhead, were her proud parents.

Sometime before the 24th of September 1946 she married Elmer Caldwell Osterhoudt, a
future World War II Veteran. They remained together until the death of Elmer.

On 13 July 2008, at eighty eight years of age, Helen passed away at the Washington
Veterans Home. She was laid to rest in the Home's cemetery, next to Elmer, her husband.

Elmer Caldwell Osterhoudt was born on 7 March 1917 in Curtis, Nebraska. He was born to
Perry Caldwell and Edna Elizabeth (Wood) Osterhoudt. Perry was from Nebraska, while
Edna was born in Missouri.

On 24 September 1946, at Fort Douglas in Idaho, Elmer enlisted in the United States Army.
He listed himself as married on his induction form. He served honorably until being discharged
on 25 May 1947.

On 19 January 1993 Elmer passed away,
